The main advancement on this set over its predecessor is the introduction of Meda@2.0 which is a set of features that allows the user to access content from the internet. You can view content on your lcd tv in way similar to using a pc via the Samsung Internet@TV service.

At the touch of a button on your remote you can view weather, news, stock quotes, sports scores and various internet services such as Yahoo, YouTube and Flickr.
